"Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 Can I encourage you to be vigilant in prayer as there are a number of our church family facing trials of life and health. If you are in that place of trial, be patient - God has not passed you by at this time. He who feeds the sparrows will also give you what you need. Do not doubt His grace as He loves you as much in trial as in blessing. During times of trial we can be prone to bear the full weight of the challenges we face, trying to find resolution or understanding. This will ultimately cause us to stagger under the load. It has never been God's intention that we should bear alone our daily trial, but we are to cast all our cares on Him trusting our future (be it material, spiritual or health) to God who knows the begining and the end. Does this mean you do nothing? Not at all! Faith in God's intervention is not passive but active. Having cast your cares on Him you labour in the sure and certain knowledge that God is at work in you. This postion will produce the miracle you hope for. |
